From 2012
to 2015, Valérie Cachard and
Gregory Buchakjian have collected
in Beirut’s abandoned buildings
objects and documents left there
by the inhabitants, illegal
occupiers or by nature.
700 elements were cleaned up,
photographed and filed, with the
idea of returning them to their
rightful owners or their heirs or
to the city via a public
institution.

2012 à 2015, Valérie Cachard et
Gregory Buchakjian ont recueilli,
dans les immeubles abandonnés de
Beyrouth, des documents et objets
laissés sur place par les
habitants, les occupants illégaux
ou par la nature.
Près de 700 éléments ont été
nettoyés, numérisés et classés,
dans la perspective de les
restituer à leurs ayants-droits ou
de les remettre à une institution.
